La Distinction’s site is located in Joliette, in the magnificent Lanaudière region. Easily accessible from Montréal and its surroundings, it offers a breathtaking countryside décor. Beyond its natural island and tall mature trees, it boasts two splendid reception halls with private terraces as well as an enormous marquee.

The Alto and Soprano reception halls, as well as several of our menus, got their names based on the owner’s love of classical music. The La Distinction site lends itself beautifully to a romantic wedding, to business meetings, family gatherings, BBQs or any other event you might imagine. It is important to note that our reception rooms and marquee come equipped with tables, chairs, white cloth, tablecloths and napkins, a private bar, have washrooms nearby, a sound system for background music, and cloakrooms. Personnel and tableware are also included with each of our three halls. It is also possible to outfit them with microphones, lecterns, computer and electronic equipment.

The marquee also includes the sounds system and the DJ host.

La Seigneurie St-Cuthbert

La Distinction’s team is proud to announce it’s latest partnership with La Seigneurie St-Cuthbert, a beautiful site where our catering team will be happy to serve you, whatever the event.

La Seigneurie St-Cuthbert is the ideal venue for a rustic reception in a breathtaking setting that offers all of the modern comodities. Your dream day will start in the attic. It’s apparent beam structure is reminiscent of the vaulted ceiling of a chapel. Your guests will then be guided to a cocktail space divided on 3 floors with an incredible view on a natural pond surrounded by mature trees. The great room where the reception will be held can hold 200 guests and is surrounded by maple wood walls with vintage sconces and apparent wood beams. Part of an aero recreative center called ULM Québec, la Seigneurie offers you the access to a vast choice of outdoors activities for the whole family and the possibility to make a memorable entrance or departure by airway.
